Villages of the Luberon

Our villages in the Luberon are sumptuous, you will love to stroll through our caladed streets. Visit quickly all these villages that make the famous Luberon and Provence.

Our villages have the peculiarity of being either perched or backed by the mountains of the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse. All are set in a landscape of olive trees, vineyards, Mediterranean forest or orchards. Each view is unique and offers a panorama of the most famous mountains of southern France: the Luberon, the Mont Ventoux, the laces of Montmirail, the Alpilles, sometimes the Ste Victoire...

Each of our villages, all integrated into the territory of the Luberon Regional Natural Park has preserved in its own way its historic heart and its characteristic architecture... Bourgeois houses in the village center or Mas and Bastides in the countryside alternate with caladed alleys and flower gardens, moving ruins and perched churches, canal and old wells, mullion windows and old gates.

Two villages on our territory are classified among the beautiful villages of France: Gordes and Lourmarin. The village of Oppède le Vieux is recognized as' Remarkable Heritage Site '.

Let yourself tell our story, from the Roman people to the popes in Avignon, passing through the Jewish districts of Cavaillon and the eventful history of the Vaudois in Luberon...
