The building was probably erected around 27 BC 14 AD. The work of art, 46.60m long and 4.20m wide, was built in large apparatus with 3 openings. The bridge crosses the Calavon, a capricious river whose floods are famous and violent; yet to date, floods have not been able to shake its structure.
