Come and discover the emblematic product of the Mediterranean lifestyle!
From harvesting to production, from the old presses to today's techniques: the Olive Oil Museum offers you a real journey around the flagship product of Mediterranean cuisine.
A visit punctuated by an original staging, audio guides (French/English) and multimedia presentations.
Olive oil tasting... but also wine tasting!
The Olive Oil Museum is located at the Domaine de La Royère, where organic wines from the AOP Luberon appellation have been produced for over 30 years.
A dozen white, rosé and red wines are available for tasting, in addition to the olive oils made on site at the modern mill.
An ethical domain, in the spirit of the times
La Royère, founded in 1988 by the Hugues family, now covers some 40 hectares of organically farmed olive groves and vineyards.
Eager to make the most of its harvests, the estate also produces a natural sweet wine as well as eaux-de-vie in its still.
