Sommaire
A modest stone house, a terrace shaded by fig and mulberry trees, antique furniture and a wood-fired oven: it's in this rustic Luberon atmosphere that you'll be welcomed at the Terrasse des Cigales.
In the heart of the old village of Mérindol, in the south of the Luberon, between Lourmarin and Mallemort, Mathieu and Sébastien offer you uncompromising Provencal recipes: aïoli, monkfish bourride and lamb shoulders cooked over a wood fire.
In summer: an intimate terrace bordered by the stones of the region's traditional bories, and in winter: authentic dishes served in the warmth of the wood fire.
Recently settled in this small village, Mathieu and Sébastien play the local game and select their produce from the most local producers: beer and apple juice from the neighbouring fields and orchards, lamb from the Alpilles and oil from the old village mill.
La Terrasse des Cigales welcomes you all year round, offering a varied menu that changes with the seasons.
