Access to the forests of the Luberon - Regulation of fire risk

From 1 July to 15 September, when the risk of forest fires is higher, access to the forests of the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse can be dangerous. Learn about the regulations governing hiking in these mountains.

Access conditions in the mountains of the Luberon Regional Natural Park and the Monts de Vaucluse are regulated by prefectural orders.

The different levels of fire risk and accessible sites depending on the level of risk.

Respect the restrictions on access during periods of risk (wind, drought...)

Do not smoke, do not light fire, do not drive on emergency runways and contact 18 or 112 in case of fire departure.
